The Book Fair

We look forward to hosting the Book Fair this year from Monday, May 4, through Wednesday, May 6, in the Medium Gym. It is a highlight of the school year for the whole community to browse fabulous books and find titles from the St. Bernard’s Reading Lists.

 

Parents, take a look at the Class Visiting Schedule to see when each class will attend the Book Fair. Please come to help your son select books during his scheduled class visit. His teachers and the librarians will be there to make suggestions but also encourage you to select books that you would enjoy reading aloud with your child. 

 

Unable to shop with your son? No problem. Book Bucks are available for purchase and serve as gift certificates for students to spend during their class visits to the Book Fair. Your pre-purchased Book Bucks will be given to your boys at the fair. Book Bucks will be sold in increments of $25 online until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, and will not be available for purchase at the Book Fair. Credit cards, checks, and cash will also be accepted. Each Book Buck will also serve as an entry into a Raffle for special bookish prizes, with winners to be drawn at the end of the Book Fair. Click here to purchase Book Bucks.

 

Additionally, we will have on display newly acquired library books that may be donated to our permanent collection. A handsome bookplate inscribed with your son’s name will be added to any books donated. 

 

If you would like to volunteer, please click here. We ask that you please do not volunteer during your son’s assigned class visit, but instead choose a time before or after.
