Dress Code

Kindergarten
Students are required to wear khaki-colored trousers or shorts.  Shirts should be St. Bernard’s shirts, available from the Lands’ End school catalogue.

Grades I-IX
Students are required to wear navy blue blazers to and from school.  Students in Grades I-III wear St. Bernard’s shirts, available from the Lands’ End school catalogue.  Students in Grades IV-IX wear polo, turtleneck, or oxford shirts.  Khaki trousers or shorts are required accompanied by a belt if there are belt loops.

All clothing, including shoes, must be labeled. The same rules apply on Fridays, except that ties and oxford shirts are required.

Health

There is a registered nurse in the school at all times.  She provides care in the event of an illness or injury and daily management of chronic health problems.  She also maintains health and attendance records.  Parents must notify the school nurse by 8:00 a.m. on the first day of an absence and each day thereafter.

An annual physical exam by a doctor, along with proof of all vaccinations, is due on the first day of school.  These are required for the child to attend school and participate in sports.
