Please join us on Wednesday, September 28, at 11:30 a.m. for a private tour of the Contemporary Curated auction in New York with Ashkan Baghestani, Head of Contemporary Curated and Vice President, Specialist of Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s.  The Contemporary Curated auction (September 30) features a selection of trailblazing artists who define the postwar period including Willem de Kooning, Lynda Benglis, Andy Warhol, and Philip Guston, as well as innovative players on the forefront of contemporary art including, Julie Mehretu, Dana Schutz, Stanley Whitney, and George Condo.

 

Following the tour we will join Brooke Lampley, Chairman and Worldwide Head of Sales for Global Fine Art and fellow St. Bernard’s parent, for lunch.  Lunch will take place at Sant Ambroeus, located in the lobby of Sotheby’s, at 12:15 p.m..
