St. Bernard’s Science Fair

On March 14, 2018, the small gym was fully transformed into annual science fair.  Boys in grades IV through VIII presented their scientific research to fellow students, family members, teachers, and friends.

The topics ranged from electromagnetism to ecosystems.  Boys built computers, robots, and super-magnet spinners and then demonstrated how each contraption worked.  Visitors especially enjoyed playing the customized game system, catapulting ping pong balls, and handling slime.  Older boys visited stations with their younger “buddies,” and the gym was full of laughter, conversation, and scientific discovery.

Congratulations to all of the participants!  Special thanks to the science department, especially Ms. Dreux for organizing, and to the maintenance team for all of their assistance.
