The Fathers Dinner
On November 21 St. Bernard’s celebrated one of its oldest traditions, the Fathers Dinner, which has been held on the Monday before Thanksgiving for almost ninety years. The fathers of the boys were invited by Craig Huff, president of the board of trustees, to dine with the faculty and staff of the school at the University Club. This year two hundred and sixty parents, faculty, and staff gathered at the club for cocktails and dinner and to listen to the evening’s distinguished speaker, author and editor Jon Meacham. As is the custom members of the faculty, who had reached a milestone in their careers at the school, were honored for their years of service:
