The Great Skate 2015

St. Bernard’s annual ice skating party, the Great Skate, took place on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Wollman Rink in Central Park.  Students, parents, faculty, and friends enjoyed a beautiful winter night skating under the stars and the sparkling skyline to a playlist of the latest hits.  Many teachers, especially in the Junior School, took to the ice this year.  Their displays of skill and courage were an inspiration to all.  Spectators also enjoyed the night while sipping on hot chocolate and feasting on a smorgasbord of treats.  The event was a great success.  Thanks to the event’s co-chairs, Sara A., Tracey H., Kathleen K., and Margaret W; the many volunteers; and St. Bernard’s Skating Dogs, a wonderful time was had by all.
