Mr. Risinger Publishes a Critical Edition of Handel's "Semele"

When he is not teaching music, critical reading, or Latin at St. Bernard's, Mr. Risinger has many scholarly activities outside of school, most of which focus on the music of Handel. After ten years of research and writing, his two-volume critical edition of the opera "Semele" appeared this summer as part of the Hallische Händel-Ausgabe, the official edition of Handel's complete works, published in Germany. A copy is now on display in the case in the front lobby. Stop by and take a look!
