Grade VIII’s Performance of Julius Caesar

Eighth graders followed in the footsteps of ninety-eight former St. B’s eighth-grade classes and performed a play written by William Shakespeare shortly before the Winter Holiday.

Each member of this year’s eighth grade participated in a stellar performance of Julius Caesar.  The boys spoke eloquently and mastered stage fighting for many of the scenes.  They were quite proud to handle real swords and daggers and created an enjoyable evening for all who were gathered in the audience.

Old Boy Brad Cover ’81 directed the boys for the second consecutive year with the assistance of Mr. Hagon.  Mr. Sechrist designed the set.  Sarah O. designed costumes and led a team of parent volunteers who created the stunning costumes.  Faculty members helped with make-up, set construction, and other tasks.  Lorie Reilly documented the performance and provided the photography.  This immense collaboration produced a terrific evening of entertainment for all.

Congratulations to the class of 2018 on a fabulous performance!
