Old Boys Visit CNN
On October 2, 2017, Tom Goldstone ’86, executive producer of CNN’s weekly foreign affairs show Fareed Zakaria GPS, welcomed a group of Old Boys to CNN’s New York offices.
During our visit, Tom presented on his career (how he got from 98th Street to 58th Street) and on what he did during the United Nation’s General Assembly in New York City this September to craft that week’s episode. Over the week his duties included scoring interviews with world leaders, scripting the show around quickly-developing current events, and producing the finished product. We also stepped into a live control room, where we watched production of CNN’s evening broadcast. A very insightful evening!
