A Virtual Spring Concert and Art Show
The Spring Concert and Art Show was held online this year. Ms. Nelson created a website to celebrate the artistic and musical talents of St. Bernard’s.
There were video recordings of performances from the St. Bernard’s Singers, Chamber Singers, Glee Club, Recorder Club, and String Orchestra. Each boy recorded his part at home, and the magic of video editing brought the performers together virtually. This is easier said than done! Many thanks to Mrs. Fertel, Mr. Risinger, and Mr. Jacala from the Music Department for pulling off this feat.
In addition, every boy, from kindergarten through Grade IX, had a piece of art exhibited in the show. Ms. Nelson, Ms. Rogan, and Mrs. Shalvoy from the Art Department curated the art and photographed each piece. We appreciate their efforts to move this special St. Bernard's tradition online.
