Sports Day 2015

The threat of rain almost thwarted Sports Day, but it turned out to be a nice, if muggy, day.  In addition to the crowd of parents, a few of Old Boys were in attendance to watch the festivities (Lance Chantiles-Wertz ’11, Connor Huff ’08, Tommy Jorgensen ’09, and Max Prager ’11).  We were thrilled to see Mrs. Reitzas’ son on the sidelines, too, and he did his best to cool down the boys of IIIR by dumping water on their heads every chance he got.  Sunshine and athletic prowess were plentiful, but the brightest stars of the day were the boys in K North who swept in every kindergarten category and had spectators wondering if FIFA was behind another conspiracy.  One secret did come out--Ms. McLaughlin's athletic talent; she dominated the Junior School faculty race with a finish that one had to see to believe.  While we didn’t catch that race on camera, we did capture the fan-favorite parents vs. parents tug-o-war.
