Community Service Tutoring

This spring a group of St. Bernard’s eighth and ninth graders participated in tutoring children at The Booker T. Washington Learning Center in East Harlem.  Every Wednesday Mr. Davis escorted a group of tutors to the center, where for an hour they worked with students from kindergarten through seventh grade.  Typically, each St. Bernard's boy paired up with one tutee, and the pairs got to know each other very well.  All of the participants were sad to say farewell at the final session last week.
